Located in the heart of Sierra de Tramontana, where tranquillity is the result of the nature that surrounds the place, which is why this area has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the category of Cultural Landscape. It is a historic castle from the 19th century, restored and refurbished with elegant finishes to become an exclusive luxury hotel in Mallorca. Only 2 minutes from Es Capdellà, 25 minutes from Palma de Mallorca and 35 minutes from the airport, making it a privileged hideaway. 

Castell Son Claret has 41 suites and rooms, each one of different size and design due to the historical plans of the castle, which makes it a hotel with a lot of personality and character. Some of them stand out for their own terrace, surrounded by majestic gardens, or their own swimming pool, and offer an exclusive atmosphere and a space where privacy prevails. 

The simplest rooms have all the comforts, including underfloor heating and a king-size bed, while the most complete, the Pool Suites, have a terrace, an 80 m² living-dining room and a private swimming pool heated by solar panels. 

The Tower Suites also stand out, with 70 m² and a balcony with privileged views of the estate and gardens. Both in the common areas and in the rooms, guests can enjoy more than 30 artworks by living artists, including the Mallorcan painter Ramón Canet, and original lithographs by Joan Miró. 

The four 75 m² suites with a light-flooded living room, a large bedroom and a spacious bathroom are the latest addition to the hotel. The large windows offer an uninterrupted view of the breathtaking landscape of the Tramuntana mountains. Design highlights, such as the elegant living room table by American interior designer Warren Platner or the armchair by Cassina, are inspired by the mid-century style of the 50s and 60s, when Mallorca became a meeting place for the international jet set. 

Castell Son Claret offers an exceptional gastronomic proposal. The Olivera restaurant, run by Mallorcan chef Pep Forteza, offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with fresh, seasonal products.

Sa Clastra is the new and elegant gourmet restaurant run by the young and talented Mallorcan chef Jordi Cantó. Here, Jordi takes inspiration from classic dishes from around the world and reinterprets them with local ingredients and recipes. Two tasting menus are offered, which change according to the season. 

And finally, for a casual aperitif or snack, Castell Bar is a space located in the old stables of the estate, where we will be surprised with cocktails, gins and liqueurs made with aromatic herbs, flowers and fruits grown in the Castell Son Claret orchard. 

For those who like to take care of themselves and relax, the hotel has a wellness area called Bellesa de Claret, a place to disconnect and try the different treatments enriched with fresh ingredients from the gardens themselves, as well as discovering the regenerative power of the natural raw materials of the Mediterranean.
